Giving Tuesday is quickly approaching and we are excited to have you help us give back to our community. You can participate in one of two ways:
As a donor, you can sponsor season passes for the youth of the Triad region. With your donation of $100.00, Triad Stage will cover the additional $50.00 to provide a season pass to students with a valid student ID or a young member of our community under the age of 21. This is a wonderful opportunity to help youth enjoy and engage with the arts at no cost to them!
If you are a student or young person with a valid ID, under the age of 21, we want to see you at Triad Stage on December 3, 2019! Between 3-5 pm, we will be giving out first-come-first-serve passes so you can enjoy all of the up coming shows. Bring your friends and enjoy some hot cider and sweets to celebrate this wonderful day of global giving.
Millions of people around the world have participated in the movement. Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, until now, have been the only two North Carolina cities to officially recognize their city as a part of the global movement. But on Monday October 21, with solicitation and partnership from Triad Stage, Mayor Nancy Vaughan signed a proclamation making Greensboro the third city in North Carolina to join the cause! "I have lived around theater for a long time. As an artist, I study Graphic Design at NC A&T and Triad Stage is an interesting marriage of music, visuals and dialogue... it's an amazing combination of artistry" - Katie, Junior
"I absolutely love going to see plays. I feel like I learn more about history and different kinds of people. And it's actually fun!" - Jamon, 12
"I can't stand the idea of the arts dying out. I also hate the idea of young people not being able to see live theater just because the cost is too much. I am very excited to be giving to Triad Stage on Giving Tuesday because I know that my support will lead to happiness and joy for a young person in our community. It is a great way to support Greensboro!" - Angela, Donor
